Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Health Hive by Valkyrie (“Health Hive”, “we”, “us”) is a software product operated by Valkyrie Information Technology, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, how we share it, and the choices available to you. By creating an account or using Health Hive, you acknowledge this Policy together with our Terms of Service and AI Processing Notice.
Governing law: United Arab Emirates, including applicable UAE personal data protection requirements.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate the feature you use:
- Account & identity: name, email, phone, password, role (Student, Professional, Recruiter, Vendor), and organisation or business name where provided.
- Profile & career: education, work history, CV/resume content, licensing checklist progress, and related documents you choose to store.
- Identity & business verification documents: Emirates ID images; Trade Licence images (Vendor); Employee ID images (Recruiter); optional or required student ID images for Student Plus pricing; hospital or organisation logos where uploaded.
- Employer tools: job posts, applications, Hive Screen scores, interview scheduling data, and interview recordings/transcripts if you enable recording.
- Commerce: cart, delivery address, order history, and payment references from Stripe or Apple/Google billing (we do not store full card numbers).
- Device & communications: push notification token, basic app diagnostics needed to deliver the service, and support messages you send.
We do not intentionally collect clinical medical records, HealthKit data, or Health Connect data. Health Hive is not an electronic health record.
3. Why we process your data
We process personal data to:
- Create and secure your account, authenticate you, and provide role-based features.
- Deliver subscriptions, restore purchases, and prevent billing abuse.
- Enable career, licensing checklist, marketplace, and employer hiring-workflow tools.
- Verify eligibility for student pricing and process Vendor/Recruiter identity documents you submit.
- Operate optional AI features described in the AI Processing Notice.
- Meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and security obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertisers for third-party interest-based advertising.
4. Processors and sharing
Service providers may process data only to perform contracted tasks, for example:
- Cloud hosting and storage
- Email / OTP delivery
- Payment processors (Stripe on Android where used; Apple App Store / Google Play billing on the relevant platform)
- Real-time communications (Agora) for calls/interviews
- AI processing providers for Hive Screen ranking, CV assist, interview notes, and document/ID checks
We may disclose information if required by UAE law, regulator, court, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the platform.
5. Retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account remains active and as required for legal, tax, dispute, and security purposes. You may request deletion in Settings / Help. Some records (for example paid invoices or fraud logs) may be retained where the law requires or permits retention after account closure.
Local private documents stored on your device remain under your control until you remove them or uninstall the app.
6. Security
We apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; you must protect your credentials and device.
7. Your rights
Subject to UAE law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing where consent is the basis. Contact the Help address published in the app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Students and younger users
Health Hive is intended for adults and for students using the service in a career-education context. If you use student pricing, you must submit accurate student identification. Do not upload another person’s ID without authority.
9. International processing
Infrastructure and processors may be located outside the UAE. Where data is transferred, we take steps consistent with applicable UAE requirements and our contracts with processors.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material updates will be reflected by a new document version in-app. Continued use after you accept the updated package constitutes acknowledgement of the revised Policy.
